Access to Justice

The NWT Access to Justice Committee works to improve and promote access to justice for the poor and middle class across the territory.

Truth and Reconciliation

The Northwest Territories Branch of the CBA and the Law Society of the NWT have established a joint working group to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.

CBA Well-being

Lawyers juggle busy, demanding schedules. Finding balance is a challenge. Our well-being initiatives prioritize lawyer wellness, from getting the mental health supports you need to programs that address the personal and professional challenges lawyers face.

Equal Justice

We believe that everyone deserves access to justice. Equal Justice advocates for access and improvements. Our vision is an inclusive justice system that is equally accessible to all, regardless of means, capacity or social situation.

Truth and Reconciliation

Our work to understand and acknowledge the truth and engage in reconciliation is an ongoing process. This initiative is dedicated to giving CBA members an online space and resources to learn, so we can all do better.
